About Us

The partners

The Managing Partners are the founding partners of Tellsons Investors LLP and they invest the EF Tellsons Endeavour fund. They have over 80 years’ combined experience managing and advising equity and debt funds for a broad range of clients in the UK and Europe. They are supported by portfolio, research, compliance, and accounting specialists in the management of both the Fund and the firm. Co-invested with the management team are a group of Investor Partners comprised of institutions, family offices and private individuals.

Joe Bunting, Managing Partner and Co-CIO

Joseph Bunting is the founder of Tellsons, the Managing Partner responsible for the day to day running of the partnership and Co-CIO of the Endeavour Fund. Joe has 25 years of investment experience in corporate debt, merger and buyout financing, and multi-asset investments with Paribas, Goldman Sachs and Alliance Capital LLC. Joe took an MA from Edinburgh University, specialising in History and Economics, after service with the British Army in Germany.

Christoph Wiedebach, Co-founder Partner, CIO and Head of Research

Christoph Wiedebach is a co-founder of Tellsons, the chief investment officer, Managing Partner responsible for equity investments and fund operations. Christoph has 25 years of experience in international equities and multi-asset investments with Fidelity, Oppenheim Private Bank and Alliance Capital LLC. Christoph is fluent in English, German and Spanish, graduated with an engineering degree from Munich Technical University and took his MBA at the University of Michigan.

John Bishop, Co-founder Partner, Head of Bond Investments

John Bishop is the Managing Partner responsible for bond investments in the Fund. John has 38 years of investment experience in the international bond markets and fixed income investment industry. John worked with and ran teams from 1981 for Bank of America, Bankers Trust, Credit Suisse and Paribas. After a brief period with US hedge fund Caxton, John founded and ran his own investment company, Observatory Capital, before becoming a founder partner of Tellsons in 2012.

Ludovico Mori, Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research.

Ludovico Mori, Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research. Ludo joined the firm at launch as an under-graduate intern from Federico II university in Naples, Italy. Following graduation in Economics & Finance he joined the firm full-time in portfolio management and quantitative and macro- economic research. Ludo has the IMC and is a partner of the firm.

Cranley Macfarlane, Investment Analyst.

Cranley is a member of the global research and portfolio management team. Cranley joined the firm from JMFinn where he managed client portfolios, led the fixed income specialism and chaired the firm’s asset allocation committee. Cranley was called to the Bar after graduation from Edinburgh University with an MA in History. He holds the Masters in Wealth Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Securities and Investments.

Damian Cocking, Business Development Director

Damian joined Tellsons soon after our 7th anniversary to launch and lead our institutional business development strategy. Damian previously held similar roles with Rathbones, Jupiter, Stenham and Goldman Sachs. Damian started his career at The Prudential having graduated in Business Studies from Greenwich University.

Duane Hasnip, Business Development Director.

Duane leads our business development strategy for regional wealth management and intermediaries, building on the foundations laid by Michael Lindeman who had been one of the firm’s founding partners. Duane joined the firm from GAM where he held a similar role, and Premier, Axa Framlington and Standard Life before that. Duane started his career with the Armed Forces and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
